deficit hyperactivity disorder prevalence among
children and adolescents in the United States: an
ecological association
Authors point out that this study does not prove a causal effect, however, more research is needed: this is just the first step.
Other studies prove that fluorine is developmental neurotoxin, that is, it causes deficits in brain development.

US Study:

Over three different time periods, there was a positive correlation between increasing numbers of fluoridated water supplies and numbers of children diagnosed with ADHD.
